The nice thing about doing your engagement session The nice thing about doing your engagement session in a place that's notoriously cold and windy is that it forces you to get closer to your SO... And then there's always that glorious windswept hair

Also - Point Reyes in the winter and spring = Scotland
I might be biased, but I think Sonoma County might I might be biased, but I think Sonoma County might be the prettiest of all the Bay Area counties - and arguably the best for photoshoots - Although I'll concede that Marin is pretty amazing as well (Sonoma doesn't have Mt. Tam or Marin Headlands or Point Reyes).

In Sonoma County we've got rolling green hills (that Windows XP background "Paradise" was taken here) with fields of wildflowers, gorgeous vineyards, epic coastlines that I think eclipse Big Sur (both in terms of accessibility and how photogenic they are), soaring old growth redwoods, the Russian River, historic towns/charming towns and all of it without much in the way crowds. Sure other Bay Area counties have some of these things, but generally not on the scale of Sonoma County.

Sure I sound like I work for the Sonoma County Tourism Board but I'm honestly super passionate about where I live.

I really do recommend it for your engagement session and of course for your wedding. It's just lovely here :)
Wedding/engagement/proposal seasons have coalesced Wedding/engagement/proposal seasons have coalesced this year into a non-stop party of pent up love, affection, commitment, celebration, and community. The great thing about being in an industry that celebrates the very most positive elements of life is that it helps remind you that even though the greater world may seem hopeless at times that happiness still persists on the personal level.

Also, just realizing that this photo doesn't particularly communicate any of that, but I already wrote this description (on my phone no less), so there's no going back now. It's also just kinda pretty which makes me feel better about the world too.
Good art should make you ask questions. Thusly, th Good art should make you ask questions. Thusly, this must be good art, because it makes me ask the question - whose hand is he holding?

(Are people still doing hashtag jokes)

Also, happy new year everyone :D
I haven’t posted a photo of our adorable baby Le I haven’t posted a photo of our adorable baby Levi in a while, and I figured that graduating from the 4th trimester (means he’s 3 months old now) was as good a time as any. We love him lots despite the fact that he’s sort of keeping us hostage in the house <3
Still in awe of the diversity of photo locations i Still in awe of the diversity of photo locations in the Bay Area. Can you think of another geographic region that has soaring redwoods, craggy coastlines, rolling vineyards, and San Francisco?

I mean, that last one is a little unfair to try and find in another geographic region, but still, it's a very pretty city
Since I shared one from the morning Hindu ceremony Since I shared one from the morning Hindu ceremony for this one, I figured I'd share one from the afternoon Western ceremony for it as well. Very impressed gang, very impressed indeed

Thank you again for @laurenmillerevents and her ability to perfectly execute a single day wedding with so many different traditions. Amazing
Apparently my paternity leave is over and I'm full Apparently my paternity leave is over and I'm fully back in the swing of shooting weddings... Including this amazing Hindu/Western combo wedding at the amazing @viansasonoma this past weekend

And thank you to the lovely @laurenmillerevents who remained not only calm (amongst the chaos that is a Hindu/Western combo wedding) but also affable and professional
Alright, one last post about the baby and then I'l Alright, one last post about the baby and then I'll get back to or regular scheduled program.

I just wanted a) y'all to see him up close and b) to post a photo of him that I took (I am after all trying to show off my photography chops with this account).

Everyone thinks their baby is the cutest, and I count myself among everyone <3
And just like that... Life is irrevocably changed. And just like that... Life is irrevocably changed. Family of 3, dad, and all the rest 😍🍼🎂😳

I wanted to say a quick thank you to all of the friends, family (and clients!!!) who have gone above and beyond with their love, support, understanding, and giving. Y'all have further melted my already melted heart.

We are overjoyed and undersleeped - can't wait for everyone to meet you baby Levi

And thank you to @duyho_ for the, as always, amazing photos

Oh, and extra points if you noticed this repeating background element thingy I've done with the last few images

What's that you say? More epic bridge shots, only What's that you say? More epic bridge shots, only this time from the Marin side, so that we can see the city in the background?

I mean, that's very specific, but happy to oblige
So many different ways to look at that bridge... B So many different ways to look at that bridge... Blanking on the name at the moment. Something like, the Red Tall Bridge. Ummm, don't help me, I'll get it. Phfffffff

I've got it! The Orangeden Door Bridge.*phew* was getting worried there for a second, like the last year or so had started messing with my mind or something
Have I mentioned that my wife @alexandrina_owens i Have I mentioned that my wife @alexandrina_owens is super pregnant with our first child? Less than a month to the due date - very excited and nervous and overwhelmed and tons to do and plan and take care of and love and worry about and celebrate 🤩😳😍🎉

And thank you for all the love and support from family and friends - having a baby during a pandemic can leave you feeling a bit more isolated in your experience (I would imagine, given that we've never done this before).

Also thank you to @duyho_ for the wonderful photo of us.

And also also, if I'm a little slow to respond to stuff in the next few weeks there's a good reason :D
This was a bonkers beautiful rehearsal dinner in t This was a bonkers beautiful rehearsal dinner in the HALL Rutherford wine cave this past weekend. Wine country is a pretty rad place to have a wedding and a wine cave is a pretty rad place to be at in general.

And thank you to @orchardavenueevents for the amazing job putting it together and doing double duty as my lightstand in this photo ❤️❤️❤️
